Gold Banner Suite

A view of the Rocky Mountains from the bedroom. It has a queen-size brass bed, a triangular whirlpool tub/shower for two, a separate sitting room with a gas log fireplace. Second floor.

The Bluebell Suite

Away from the other rooms with a private outside entrance. It has a king-size bed and a sofa bed, a separate solarium sitting room, and a tub shower. First floor

The Elk Thistle Suite

Separate from the other rooms, it faces west with a view of the State Capitol and the Rocky Mountains from the sitting room which also has a gas log fireplace and a sofa that can be converted to a second bed. The bedroom has a queen-size bed. There is an antique clawfoot tub/shower. Third Floor.

The Shooting Star Balcony Room

A favorite for honeymoons and anniversaries, it occupies the Victorian Turret and has a balcony with a view of historic homes across the way, a whirlpool tub and separate brass and glass shower. The bedroom has a floral mural above the headboard of the queen-size bed. Second floor.

The Snowlover Balcony Room

The balcony has a view of the city and snow-capped Rocky Mountains. It is further distinguished by a 28-foot mural of a snow-dusted alpine forest. There is a queen-size bed and tiled shower. Third floor.

The Pasque Flower Room

View of the historic homes of the neighborhood. Built into the Victorian Turret is a six-foot round whirlpool tub for two with standup European-style hand shower. There is an antique queen-size bed. Third floor.

The Paintbrush Room

Convenient to the parlor and dining room, this room has a king-size bed which can be made into two twin single beds, and a walk-in shower. It is one of the coolest rooms with overhead fan as well as an air conditioner. Handicap accessible. First floor

The Forget-Me-Not Room

A Country French four-poster canopy queen-size bed, an oak secretary, curved glass windows, walk-in shower. Second floor.

Check-in is from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.. Please call if arriving later than 9:00 PM. Check-out is 12:00 Noon. Luggage may be left with the innkeeper if departing later in the day or arriving early.

Rates shown are for one or two people. A third adult is $25.00 per night additional. Local taxes additional. Rates are subject to change without notice. Capitol Hill Mansion is a family friendly place. We welcome kids of all ages. There is an additional $25.00 charge per night for children 2 years of age and up.

Room rates include breakfast in the dining room served buffet style 7:30 - 9:30 AM and afternoon refreshments in the dining room 5:30 - 7:30 PM as a time to meet the guests, talk with the innkeeper, discuss restaurants and sightseeing.

Full payment is required to confirm a reservation. Major credit cards, personal checks, travelers checks, money transfers may be used for payments. Major credit cards may be used to guarantee payment for reservations made less than 14 days prior to arrival.

Cancellation/refund policy is a liberal one. If you cancel or change your reservation by 6:00 PM at least seven days prior to your arrival date, there will be no charge. Otherwise you will be charged for each night of your reservation which is not resold. When canceling a group reservation of three or more rooms, 14 - 30 days notice may be required for a full refund.

All rooms have private phones and there is no charge for local calls, or toll-free calls. Outgoing FAX is available to guests at $1.00 per page in the USA, $5.00 for the first international page and $1.00 per page thereafter. There is no charge for incoming messages.

The inn does not charge for parking. There is off-street parking directly behind and beside the inn.

Innkeeper concierge assistance is available for arranging area tours, horse-drawn carriage rides to dinner, restaurant reservations, and recommendations for other Colorado inns. We are more than happy to help you plan your Denver vacation. One of Denver, Colorado's premier urban inns since 1994, Capitol Hill Mansion is an inviting, family friendly, gay friendly vacation getaway in the Rocky Mountains. The inn has eight distinctive guestrooms. There are three two-room suites. Two rooms have balconies, two have fireplaces, one has twin beds, four can accommodate more than two guests using a rollaway bed, three have whirlpool tubs.

From Denver International Airport

Airport exit boulevard (Pena Blvd) to I-70 West. Exit Colorado Blvd. south (left). Turn right (West) on 13th Ave. toward downtown. turn left (South) on Pennsylvania one block to the inn on the right at the corner of 12th St. Parking is at the back of the inn.

From The West (The Mountains) on I-70 East or From The North on I-25 (Fort Collins) or South on I-25 (Colorado Springs)

Exit onto 6th Ave. East. Cross Broadway (our centerline street) and turn left on Logan St. (North). Turn right on 12th. Ave. one block to the inn on the left at the corner of Pennsylvania. Parking at the back of the inn.
