Featuring comfort, elegance and hospitality, the Apple Blossom Inn is Leadville's finest bed & breakfast. A perfect location for all outdoor activities, or a quite escape from the city. This 1879 Victorian home was once owned by prominent Leadville banker, A. V. Hunter and is located on historic Millionaire's Row in downtown Leadville.

The home contains original brass and crystal light fixtures, fireplaces with Florentine tile and beveled mirrors, maple and mahogany inlaid flooring and beautiful stained glass.

The Library

Once the office of the banker A. V. Hunter, this guest room will make you feel like royalty with it's wainscoted 14 foot ceilings and walls, king-size bed, stained glass windows, fireplace and private bath. This room, with out a doubt, is the finest room in Leadville.

The Mc Ferran Room

The maiden name of A. V. Hunter's wife Estelle, this newly remodeled room features a double feather bed and private bath with a claw-foot tub to soak your cares away in. This room has one of the best views in town overlooking a church steeple towards Mt. Elbert and Mt. Massive.

Estelle's Room

Named after the Wife of A. V. Hunter, you will feel very cozy in the queen-size four poster feather bed, gazing into the Venetian tiled fire place with a beveled mirror and carved wood mantel. This room has a private bath with an antique porcelain pedestal sink.

The Dougan Suite

Dr. David Dougan commissioned the building of this house back in 1879. This suite also contains the stained glass window the inn is named after. Wood paneling makes this room very comfortable. With it's queen-size four poster feather bed and adjoining room with a twin size day bed and private bath with two pedestal sinks, one is sure to feel tranquil and comfortable.

The Hunter's Quarters

This large suite is named after the very prominent banker A. V. Hunter. It is able to accommodate nine people with it's two bed rooms with double beds and three twin beds through out the suite. The room has a kitchenette, small living room, dining room and private bath.

The Trimble Solution

George Trimble was A. V. Hunter's banking partner. This newly remodeled room has a double feather bed and private bath with a claw-foot tub. You will enjoy the view of Mt. Elbert and Mt. Massive from this room.

Breakfast at the Apple Blossom Inn is a meal not soon forgotten. Egg souffles, herbed potatoes, bacon, sausage, home made cinnamon buns, fresh fruit, granola and yogurt, freshly ground coffee, tea and orange juice will satisfy the most discriminating appetite.

Picnic lunches are available by special request and can include, but are not limited to, sandwiches of your choice, pasta, potato or Caesar salad, chips, yogurt, fresh fruit, lemonade and, of course, the famous Apple Blossom Inn brownies or chocolate chip cookies.

Dinners can be served at the inn by special request. Information about the variety of Leadville restaurants can be provided as well.

Relax and enjoy our new private garden hot tub. Recently installed, it features a multitude of jets and sits just off our new sun deck - a perfect place to soak and unwind after a day of hiking or skiing.

Reservations require a 50% deposit at the time of booking. One night stays require payment in full. Cancellations and changes received less that 14 days prior to arrival (30 days for holidays and special events) will be charged in full unless the room nights are rebooked. A $25 processing fee per room will be charged for all cancellations regardless of rebooking.

Check in is between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. unless other arrangements are made prior to arrival. Checkout time is 11:00 a.m.

Pets cannot be accommodated.

During holidays and special events a minimum stay may be required and/or higher rates may apply.
